Weather Underground Forecast for Saturday, May 10, 2008.

Low pressure over the Iberian Peninsula will bring wet weather to western Europe on Saturday. The rain will remain concentrated mainly over Spain, with some heavy precipitation expected in the Pyrenees and into southern France. A few showers are also likely across the United Kingdom on Saturday.

To the east of the low pressure system, high pressure will dominate central and northern Europe, keeping skies clear throughout the region. In addition to the clear skies, temperatures throughout the region will be quite warm. Highs in Berlin will reach into the low 70s(F)/ low 20s(C). Paris will be a few degrees warmer as temperatures there soar into the mid-50s(F)/ mid-20s(C).

Under the low on the Iberian Peninsula, temperatures are expected to remain very cool. Highs in Madrid will reach only into the upper 50s(F)/ mid-10s(C) while Barcelona will see highs in the mid-60s(F)/ upper 10s(C).

Eastern Europe will see scattered clouds and some showers and thunderstorms spread throughout the region. Temperatures will be a bit cooler than the highs of central Europe, but still seasonable. Temperatures in Minsk and Odessa will reach into the low 60s(F)/ mid-teens(C). Athens will see temperatures in the low 70s(F) with partly cloudy skies.
